So what is our body doing when we sleep? This is when we heal.
If you do not get enough sleep over the course of the night, you are starting the next day with more damage than you did the day before.
So what are some of the best HABITS for the best sleep?
Consistency. Go to bed and get up around the same time EVERY day. Even weekends. Sure you can sleep in. But try not to sleep in too much or it will be much rougher on Monday Morning.
Make your bedroom like a cave. Cold, dark and quiet. All of those things make it easier to sleep.
No food and very little drink the last 2 hours before bed. If fact, try to drink most of your water intake for the day in the morning and early afternoon.

What about Beds? WHICH is the best? The only answer I can give is…. Depends. Depends on you. Sorry, terrible answer but still true. You want to sleep on a bed that gives you good support so that you wake up rested.
What about sheets? Can that make a difference? Yes, Of course. In fact most people have a favorite set of sheets at home right now.

What about Pillows? I think the right pillow can make a huge difference. For me, I want a pillow that keeps the head in the correct neutral position as you sleep. Which means, if you sleep on your back, you need a thinner pillow than if you sleep on your back.
