Say Hello to Dr. Jeremy W. Hale & Chubbuck Chiropractic
Chubbuck native, Jeremy W. Hale D.C., B.C.A.O. established Chubbuck Chiropractic in 2000. Dr Hale believes in correcting the body in the gentlest way possible. Using gentle, specific adjusting methods, like Activator and Atlas Orthogonal, Dr. Hale is able to avoid the discomfort that is often associated with Chiropractic adjustments.
How do we know if a patient needs care?
When a patient first comes in, they are asked to fill out paperwork so that we can get an idea of why that person may be having trouble. We then perform a complete exam to find out what is working and what is not working. Dr. Hale also utilizes advanced computerized equipment during the exam to identify the patients resting posture. This valuable information is good not only at the beginning of care but it can also be used as a gauge to monitor the progress of a patient throughout care.
Once we have an idea of what is not working, we can take x-rays to identify what is going wrong structurally in addition to functionally.
Together, the structural and the functional pictures give a good idea of what is going wrong and that helps us to create a plan to fix it.
This tool is also very helpful in determining how the patient is responding to treatment. It is very important to us that you feel better. It is more important that you actually function better. We use this tool, in conjunction with how you are feeling to determine your treatment schedule.

Chiropractic Adjusting - Atlas Orthogonal
First thing that most people ask me is, “What is that Atlas thing you’re talking about?” The Atlas is the top vertebral bone under your skull. We believe that this bone is the most important vertebra to keep in the right position, because part of the brain stem that controls many different automatic functions of the body, extends into the area of the Atlas. If it is out of place, many different parts of the body will not work well.

There are some great animations about the Atlas and how it affects your body and there are videos from several talk shows including Montel Williams and The Doctors talking about the Atlas Orthogonal procedures.

Chiropractic Adjusting - Activator
There are many different ways to adjust the rest of the spine. We have chosen to use the most gentle techniques we can find. Our first choice for most people is using an activator. The activator is a hand-held instrument that allows a specific adjustment on a specific bone segment in a specific direction using a predetermined amount of force. In other words, this allows us to adjust one bone at a time by just nudging it, not shoving it and getting all sorts of things to move. This is important because it is our belief that if it is in the right spot, it is usually a good idea to leave it alone.
Extremities
Check the Whole Body
Another service that we offer is very important for most people. The Extremities. This means adjusting the shoulders, wrists, elbows, ankles, knees, toes. Many people come in with numbness in the fingers, or tingling in their toes. Most of those conditions can be traced back to their spine and that is where they need to be adjusted. For example, if a patient comes in with numbness in the fingers, We will first check the neck and upper back. If everything is in place in the spine and it is working good, We would then look at the shoulder joint and the ribs to make sure the shoulder is stable, the elbow joint, the wrist and finally the fingers. It is our experience that just because the symptoms are in the fingers, does not mean the problem is in the fingers. You must look at the entire Kinetic chain.
Hydro Massage Table
Bliss on a Timer
One of our favorite tools to help people is our Hydro Massage Therapy Table. We have used massage therapy for years to help relax and rehabilitate the muscles. This tool is going to be used in two different ways.
In conjunction with the adjustment, the water table is a great way to relax the muscles so the adjustment stays in place longer. It allows us to prepare your body for the adjustment. Even though our adjustments are some of the most gentle procedures you can ever have, some patients are still so tight and stiff, that they are difficult to adjust. For those patients, getting them on the water table before the adjustment allows them to relax and get a better adjustment that stays in place longer and they get the results that they are looking for.
As a stand alone treatment, it is a great way to take a 15 minute break from the stress of your daily life.
